Missed You Today

The sunrise is bright,
The sky is ocean blue,
But my heart misses you.

On this windy day,
The warm breeze carries your, 
Soothing voice to me.

The base note of your perfume,
Is carried by the waves of time to my ears,
From a faraway place,
A long ago time.

Where my Soul lives,
And my heart wishes to travel.

Yet!
One day I feel I will, 
Return to my secret home,
To my darling, you.

I missed you today,
I hope to walk with you tonight,
In the daylight of dreams.
