Missing Summer? 🎄🌞

Missing Summer? 🎄🌞

My memories of the Summer time are but a twinkle in my eye

Whilst I am sat sticking sellotape onto presents, of all shapes and sizes, as Christmas day is nigh

Coz do I miss those long balmy, lazy, crazy nights sat stargazing at the sensational sky?

After I’d strolled along the sunset boulevards, as yon scorching sun sizzled as those cumulus clouds passed by

Well do I miss that Summer season?

This question is really hard to answer..

Though I guess that every rhyme has to have a reason, within the muddled mind of a poetic romancer

And I am indeed a poet, this much I now realise

As I write in rhyme about my life in verses, in my ritual routine and daily exercise

Yet I am so looking forward, to all of our festive fun and frolicking, time well spent with my little family on Christmas day

And there is no doubt that very soon, this dreary, dank, dismal December weather, will wake up to the new splendours of Springtime,     when Summer will be back once more from my muddled memories, come what may…

Wonderful poem
you should move somewhere where they have summer all the time
Florida where is it too hot for you
but if you lived on the beach you could be in the beach all day
