Missing you

I saw your face today but only for a brief moment in time.

I know you’re looking down on me because of how the sun shines.

If I could rewind time I’d lay down my life just so you’d be fine.

Every since the day your life was taken I prayed that it would’ve been mine.

You were my rock, my everything the person that always made me feel as though life would be fine.

Each and every day I think of you and spontaneously I start crying.

How do I go on in life without you? When there’s no one to guide me if I didn’t say I miss you Lord knows I’d be lying.
