Missing You

Your love is my spark,

That starts the burning inside,

That chases away the dark,

And snuffs the tears I cried,

Did you miss my smile?

Like I so fondly remember yours?

Did you miss me all the while?

After I walked out through those doors?

Now it seems so silly,

A memory aged by time,

But I miss you so bad, really,

And it feels just like a crime,

Wasn't I the one who left you?

The one who never looked back?

Then why do I feel like a shrew?

Like I didn't cut you any slack?

I'll never know why,

I'm still feeling this blue,

But maybe I can only fly,

When I'm right next to you...
