WANTED....one good lord...oR aNy gOD aT aLL

I dreamt of cornfields
Rows and rows of rippling
yellowness
Stretched far and further than
eyes
Into infinitum
Married earthbound to sky
Blue gold in beauty...in the
promise and lie
Uninterrupted continuum
Knee deep and high
The grains of all life held in
billowing winds
A feast held in sanctum
Sacred fill...before kill...
And I heard them...the
children, and the beasts of
the field, innocence believing
In the goodwill...the meal...
And I cried as I heard them,
those babes and the lambs
In the paradise fields as the
plough rose it's arm
And roared, and...
I dreamed of those cornfields
and I wept in my dreams, for
I knew that to wake was to
breathe of the screams
And I walked in those
cornfields and cursed the
blue sky
For to die was abhhorent, yet
to live was... to cry...
Forever
