I sat on the cushioned seat 

Watching people pass you 

Your lifeless body 

They hugged your wife, kids, 

Mom and dad 

Everyone was in disbelief 

When it came time to say our final goodbye 

I saw the bullet mark in your head 

Why did you leave us?
