Poem -

MISTER BLACKBIRD AND HIS NEST

Regular as clockwork he comes to my lawn
Usually about six o'clock every mornĀ
Twigs in his beak he struts on my grass
I try to startle him by tapping on my glass

Soon the blackbird heads to my tree
Looks like he's building a nest to me
He lays the twigs down and looks for more
Now in his beak he has picked up straw

Heading to the tree the blackbird singsĀ
A sign perhaps to his family he now bringsĀ
Mister Blackbird your nest now is completeĀ
Didn't take long to accomplish your feat
