"Mom & Dad"...

"Mom & Dad"...

I Remember Mom...
When observing my wife, and daughters decorate the interior of
of the house.
With holly throughout the hallways, and banisters.
It reminds me of you, and my sisters.

I Remember Dad...
After my sons, and I set up and decorate the Xmas tree, how our eyes are aroused by the colorful lights.
Yes, these moments give me flashbacks of us.

I Remember Mom...
While noticing my daughters assist their mother in the kitchen,
preparing a holiday dinner for the family, and friends.
It's like de'ja'vu- that has me thinking of you.

I Remember Dad...
Holding on tightly as we both were riding the sleigh.
Enjoying the exuberant event of speeding downhill.
When my son, and I do the same.

I Remember Mom...
As I witness my wife singing along to her favorite Yuletide carols.
Taking me down memory lane, when you use to serenade them house
in the same manner.

I Remember Dad...
Those father and son moments, while making a snow man.
While watching my own son, affix the carrot nose.

I Remember Mom...
When we opened our presents, you made sure every facial
expression was recorded.
Similarly, my wife captures the joy- on each one of our children's
faces.

I Remember Dad...
Us going out skating at the neighborhood ice rink.
Now I am the one holding the little ones, as we glide across the ice.
Mom & Dad...
Those times we shared I will always hold dear to my heart.

Memories...
Sometimes they are most previous..
and other times we wish they would die a sudden death..
Thanks for sharing Joseph..
And welcome to the Cosmos..
