This Moment

Thoughts of you consistent with breathing.

When lifes struggles are staring me in the face I hold on and just keep believing.

I haven't always done things the easy way,

But I'm here in this moment because it's all we have some might say.

I have days that feel so lonely I'll admit,

And then I have days when the light shines through me and I make the most of it.

My purpose here I know, it's time to answer the calling,

I'm ready to fly... and so sick of falling.

Each time we wake up I believe we get a new chance,

To make life what we long for, to let our soul dance.

Before we try to "fix" the world we all live in,

We have to remember first we must shine ourselves from that place within.
