Monster

There is this monster
He comes and visits every night
He overpowers me
Devouring a piece of my soul 
Night by night...
I try to stop him
But I can't
He is too impregnable
I cry
Waiting for the monster to leave
But he doesn't
Not until he is done
Done with eating part of my soul
For that night
When he is gone
I prepare
Setting up my fort
I won't allow him to come again
But I am defeated
The monster comes again
Night by night
Until there is nothing left
Nothing left of my soul...
Nothing left of me...
