Poem -

monster

dark clouds hover above this day

as I hear the screams

images bend and twist like clay

disturbing our my dreams

feeling and compassion dissolve

the demons laughing at me

love can not resolve

too empty to see the tragedy

all hope is lost

I see the monsters face

revenge and hate have a cost

wallowing in disgrace

time is broken from night to day

my soul to black to see

thought I was the victim but I am prey

the monster is me
