Poem -

MOON FINGERS

the sea churns unhurried in
labouring highs, throwing salt
to moon fingers who wave
and float by...gifting the
rough breeze with salt
silvered smiles, who in turn
pass the pleasure to
intruders, and I...

And the night lives in tempest
and motion and passion
impossibly ancient,
disparaging of thought...busy
hands moulding and shaping
and casting... it's moods on a
world and it's moon, ever
caught... in beauty

Being Me

Wow, Marion!!   I have popped on here quickly as I cannot sleep and I am treated to this amazing poem. Pinned without hesitation!  This poem is simply stunning. It is impossible to pick out any line in particular as the whole poem is just so tightly perfect. I love the roaring darkness of it. I love the passionate cry throughout. I adore the sweeping emotion. This is such a powerful write and I think it is truly brilliant. This poem stirs the primeval being within me. I absolutely love this. I  LOVE it.. Wow! What a poem 🤗

I haven't been on here in a while and this poem has reminded me that I absolutely MUST get my arse back here tomorrow when I am properly awake. I will have a mountain of poems to catch up on 😂 For now, this is the only one I am reading on here tonight, I mean this morning... Lol

Outstanding poetry this is 👏👏👏👏👏👏🌹x

Doesn't it fry your brain sometimes to realise that all this drama and beauty has played out for billions of years, regardless of whether we view it or not Tina...not just here but out there in the universe ( been watching The Planets on a loop...lol) ...sometimes the loneliness of this realisation knocks me over. How truly insignificant we all are. I need to work on my 'happy' I think!!...🤪🤪
thanks so much for your beautiful comment ❤️

Just STUNNING....absolutely stunning Marion. The moon and the ocean are known to be connected. I LOVED this so much. It’s eerie, and mystical. I felt submerged witching that moonlight and ocean waves. There is also emotion within this piece, it gently grips the reader. Your wording is just sensational, every line perfectly formed and full of imagery. The perfect poem to get lost in. You are such a talented writer
love and hugs Gwen x❤️
