Moon So Blue

Moon So Blue

I’ve always been the selfish type,

Only wanting things

So out of reach.

Things like the moon,

Because the moon

Could never belong to me.

But the tables have turned.

If I was to receive something I’ve so yearned,

Something like the moon so blue,

I would give it right to you.

Most times when we reach for the stars, they fail our grasp.  But even though you won't reach them, you may grab onto a piece of the moon on your way down.

Some good scribbling kid.
