Moonchild...

Through the storm I bend my head to recognize the voices,
I realized for every tear that fell, to cry was just pointless,
I crawled back to where I belonged, under this tree at night,
You listened to my world, you hung all night, for I'm a moonchild.

Hang there in the night sky,
I'll tell you about my life,
I love how you shine bright,
It's just me, your moonchild.

I choose you,
I choose this night,
I choose truth,
I choose my life,

You are my concrete grave, but I come to stay alive,
I come to talk,
I come to give life one last try,
My friend,
My rock,
Tonight, I'm not going to die,
For I am, your moonchild...
