Moonstone and Carnelian

Moonstone and Carnelian

The world is banal and we are moonstone and carnelian.
The world is insipid and we are script and symphony.
With you, born on balefire, and I set to walk on glaciers, they say we are a brutal bond of bedlam and benevolence.
A seemingly inviolable fortress of friendship.

A seemingly inviolable fortress of friendship

It's clear that you  have a deep love of words and an unerring ability to paint images before the mind's eye with those words.

The slight equivocation in that last line is tantalising; despite the balance which has been so cordially struck between these two opposites, there may still be the potential for discord and eruption.

Over the course of only three posted poems, you've displayed a remarkable depth, breadth and scope...and it most assuredly has had an impact.

Keep walking on glaciers!
