Moral Upgrading

Moral Upgrading

Most saints
were sinners once

Just like us

Tap dancing
up and down
on the spectrum
of morality

Flawed creatures
splattered with a variety
of wrong way violations

Yet they found the resolve

to overcome their core imperfections

and get their shit together
prior to their mortal disintegration

to become the moral icons
and shiny medallions
celebrated today

So why the Hell can’t we
cast off our layers of sin
and find redemption
like those marble saints of yore?

Hello Steve...

If they don't think they're sinning anyway what would be to change their ways...

If every sin is committed and all is forgiven I ask again why is Murder and other things a problem?

Why shouldn't we sleep with other people's spouses?

Because, the one Spouse would get angry?

Oh Poor Baby!

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
