The Mormo and Me

When I was yet a tiny kid

I cried and yelled and threw tantrums

And to close this noise lid

A story was told me by my mum to keep me mums

A devil can hear me mourn

He is a blood thirsty entity

And is called the Mormo and children he did adorn

With his evil and cruel mystery

He will come, said my mother

He will take you to his land

And keep you there forever

Make you give him, in his evil deeds, a hand!

Since then, every day and every night,

I became a little fairy with a sweet tooth

And a smile so bright

Such is a living truth!
