MORNING BLISS

Crickets sharp calls deafened by birds awakening;

It’s a new day, a Sunday in the making.

Clouds not yet parted by the first rays of the sun;

Misty vapours darting over the ocean trying to hide, having fun.

The clock is ticking it minutes to go;

Soon the rays will disappear as the sun steals the show.

More birds join the morning sing-along;

With all this new day activities what can go wrong?

Oh me and oh my;

Breakfast we all have to supply!

It’s out with the feeders, wild bird seed and crush

To feed all the visitors, guinea fowls not to mention bread for the Hadedas a must!

Oh my I almost forgot, on Sundays they have a plot!

It’s Sunday a family day. A day for caring and sharing.
