Morphine mommy

Morphine mommy

I've sold all my time
To these whore fathered signs
I'll take my final line
Soon I'll be far away

My life on the road
Like some dog eating toad
When the street becomes abode
Then you have found a way

So I wonder where's the morphine mommy
Take the pills from uncle Tommy
Maybe we'll get better we will see

A life's long and hard
For a young rebel bard
Left standing in the yard
Where heirs to bondage play

So please let me breathe
I won't hang from your trees
I like you on your knees
More than the other way

Here today and a long tomorrow
Everything I have is borrowed
Maybe we'll get better
We will see.
