Mother Nature

My body is a temple, not a random street for you to walk upon. I am holy and beautiful in every way you could imagine. I am not something for you to obstruct whenever you see fit.Ā
I hold all of the power to destroy you yet you destroy me.Ā
How did you become so ungreatful? You used to kiss my feet and worship all that I am ; was.
Im as mysterious as a million piece puzzle or a hidden corridor in a masion. Im as rare as a shooting-star falling in your hands. Yet you still hurt me. Why?
I love my children even though you are making me vanish into air ; thin.

YESSSS!! KATELINE!!.....this is a great "Shine The Light" Write!!..... and I definitely believe that "Mother Nature" is MORE than deserving of the attention of all of humanity!!.....In fact, I've written at least ten pieces dedicated to mother nature and the environment!! (probably more).... anyway, I love what you've done hereĀ .....by putting it into first person and having her narrate and convey her feelings about the way she's being treated!!...., some great phrasing here delivered with an excellent sense of rhythm and timing.......ALL STARS!!... wellĀ conceivedĀ and BEAUTIFULLY deliveredĀ dear poet sister!!....... and WELCOME to COSMO!!......LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?ā˜€āœ“āœ³??
