Mother Nature 🦉

I heard a Wood Pigeon a’coo cooing upon a telegraph pole
He was watching a pile of peaty earth making a mound from a burrowing minky Mole
Who was digging and delving with all of his might as long, sharp talons stretched out from a Tawny Owl amidst yon moonlit night
But that Mother ooly Owl was too busy with a screech and a squawk frantically worried about her offspring from the hungry Sparrow Hawk..
Where a Pine Martin was precariously perched upon a tall oak tree, working out her next move to steal those Sparrow Hawks eggs, all one, two, three
Now betwixt and between that woodland habitat there was an extremely ravenous wild Scottish Cat
And he would if he only could scavenge almost anything in amongst this dark, dense wood
Pigeons, moles, owlets, and those delicious eggs belonging to Pine Martins and Sparrow Hawks as he prowled for his prey on his nocturnal walks…
