~ Mother Nature's Pain ~
A most neglected earth, drinks in the rain
Anticipating the barren and the scorched remains
Of man's misguided, technological, advancement
Tearing at natural beauty in the name of digital enhancement
Confusing evolution, with revolution
Leaving dear Mother Nature in such pain
And holy men and women, in tears
For, our planet is so thirsty
That heaven's sweet rain can no longer quench
The damage done with power hungry stench
By those who would seek to gain
From Mother Nature's pain
But, an eternal health goes round
Running through our planet's veins
And civilizations will come crashing down
As the earth heals herself
With natural changes
It's happened before
It will happen again
Unless, we learn
From our ancestors mistakes
Live in harmony with Mother Nature,
Or tomorrow will bring,
Another,
Pompeii.....

I've said it before and I'll say it again. We're living in a period of ignorance especially when you have world leaders that don't believe in climate change. Not only that but overpopulation will ultimately be our downfall.

Dear Tony,
Yes, I have published several poems about mankind's raping of Mother Nature. In fact, I wrote one a few days ago, which I have to edit, before we put it on Saturday. Someday we will sit down and try to save the World.
