Mother’s Alzheimers 🥲
She stares sadly into that familiar face of her dear old Mother
Expressions of hidden horror are rebuked from one another
But this boney, broken bodied little lady sitting slouched in her rocking chair
Seems to look right through her loving daughter, scrutinising mid air..
Alas that lustred life from all those bygone happy years
Has completely washed away within so many floods of tears
So there is no recollection from her lovely Mother at all
As this devestated daughter sits down beside her in the old folks hall..
Not a single trace of reminisce from those tired, weary eyes
As she fidgets with her finger nails through frustrated sighs
And her poor youngest darling daughter is lost amidst confusion
Whilst she realises that her Mothers Alzheimer’s sickening progressive situation, is but a foregone conclusion...
