Moving On

Walking towards the large house on the hill,
I know that inside lies people feeling ill,
They are lost souls that no longer belong,
In the place we call life,
They have sung their last song,
As i walk through the door, my heart feels pain,
Hearing and seeing time and again,
Lost lonely faces looking at me,
Thinking about nothing their souls lost at sea,
I cant continue to step through that door,
My heart and body cant take any more,
I need to turn around  and walk away,
Before i go crazy and regret what i say,
I feel for them greatly,
Knowing the life that they lead,
But if i am to sleep and night,
i have to go now so that i am freed,
Yes i feel bad, don't get me wrong,
But to keep myself sane and on track,
I have to turn round go out the door
And never in this life ever go back.
