Ms CoronA

Ms CoronA

Virus came to see me,
Surprisingly for tea,
I wasnt accepting visitors,
but she slipped her feet,
under the table .
lifting her little fingers
to society.
She likes cucumber sandwiches
and salmon from Harrods,
We shared a nibble..
I didn't quibble,
her appetite is not ladylike,
she left two months later,
spending Christmas ,
and New Year, on a bender,
followed by a course of
Antibiotics,
I hear shes still doing the
rounds,
Lock down windows and doors,
what goes, is coming around.

Wow!! Is Right!!…...this is a STELLAR write PAULINE!!…..it has such a great feel of surreal-ness to it.....I can see it playing like a scene from a movie in my minds eye!!….Not an easy thing to accomplish and (in my humble opinion) you pulled off something VERY special here!!…..I could feel her slithering, sneaky, boldness, as she sat smiling at your table...….VERY clever writing dear poet sister!!…….ALL STARS!! & PINNED for perfection!!…..smokin' grooves!!…….LOVE & ROCKETS!!…….T xoΒ  : )
Ps. Love Amy Winehouse ~ great choice!!
