Muddled Emotions

I want to travel the world,
With maybe one 
Companion 
I want to be loved 
But I need to love 
Myself more.

I want to see the stars
When they light up the sky 
And when they fade 
I wonder 
Why does everything in 
Life feel delayed. 

I want to no longer worry 
About who comes 
And who goes.
I don’t want to be in a hurry 
Or be rushed out of 
My timing.

I don’t want the attitude 
Of; it is Whatever
Because that’ll still grow deep
Into my heart 
And that feeling could 
Stay forever.

I want to be more brave 
Not a slave to every emotion 
I don’t want the turmoil 
Drowning in a mental 
Ocean. 
I want to be cuddled 
And I told it’s all good 
But I can’t see it in anyone’s eyes 
That I’ve been misunderstood.

It’s not a lonely feeling 
It’s simply jus whatever 
But life has a way of 
Putting us back together 
I don’t want to argue 
I don’t want to fight 
I jus want the reassurance
That I am alright 
I’m okay 
I’m needed 
And wanted .

I’m yours and his 
I’m adored 
I will no longer ask 
I will no longer say 
It’s God’s timing 
God’s way 
I’m blessed already
