MULATTO MAN
Behind me
Days feathered
Do shine
And I am content
With my smooth
Beige soul...
To catch a shadow
From parents
Black
And white
Life's carousel-like
Ride...
Things that morphed
One flesh
Spun
Come, I'll be the varietal
Growing the chaos
In my mind....
Wearing time
Shall I
Weave
The beige I am
A Mulatto Man
Does honor as
False recompense....
To catch at shadows
My parents love
Has made me shine
This world made the gallows
And through
My parents strength
I shallΒ never die...
A knighted soul
To glean content
My heart light
Self-evident,
Self made,Β
