Mum

The relationship we share, is far from perfect that's clear to see,
But there's no one else I'd rather have to be a mum to me.

Over the years, many disagreements we have had,

Looking back, good memories we have by far outweigh the bad.

Arguments while I was growing up, stand our ground we both would do,

But now I understand it all because I'm a mother too.

All you ever wanted, was the very best in life for me, 

Just like you, I want my kids to be the best that they can be.

Mum, I don't tell you this enough and it doesn't always show,

With all my heart I love you, this I hope you know.

I really do appreciate all the things you do, 

There's someone that I took for granted,

Mum that someone's you xxx
