MUMMY'S BOY

MUMMY'S BOY

I have been with you every step of the way
Carried you about until today
You have been snugly and safe in my tummy
Today you are born and I'm a happy mummy

Little child of mine what joy you will bring
Treated like royalty just like a king
Fun times ahead and walks in the park
I will always be here if you're frightened of the dark

I only wish your daddy could now see youΒ
Your tuft of blond hair and your eyes of blue
I will name you Bobby after your dadΒ
That would have made him proud and glad
