Mums advice to her daughter

Sweet 16

Mums advice to her daughter

Ciara Ocean Latimer-Spree
My first born daughter out of three.
A special birthday your sweet sixteen
Such a beautiful girl has grown we've seen.

I'm so very proud of you words can't say
You make me smile and bring joy each day.
It's a big birthday an important milestone
But please remember you're never alone.

Now that you're not a child anymore
Go find your own path it's what life is for.
Set your goals and aim for the stars
Don't waste your time on boys with fast cars.

Reach your potential and fulfil your dreams
There's always an answer however it seems.
In lifes path there's no right and no wrong
We all just sing our very own song.

Wherever you go whatever you do
I'm here for you and I will guide you.
Never let anything get in your way
Do what it takes to get your day.

This is the only advice I have to give
As your mum I know your life you have to live.
I know you will be the best in what you do
Whatever happens just know that I love you.
