musing's

musing's

It seems the light at the end was a fire
punk inked lips, see what will transpire
i wear my heart on my sleeve
but i'd give you my shirt,so you could perceive
you were my inspiration, but my fuse
i am not a book from a library,i am not a loan
not just a pamphlet to take home
barely made my spine bend
the notes you left in my margins
turned from scribbles to scars
but here's the best part
you didn't even realise you were reading an award winner
That's amplified so you can hear it
This piece of diction is the intro to Distraction Pieces
That's all that flies around my head and keeps me sleepless
Such little food for thought, my brain feels anorexic
so pardon my lines,if i seem kind of sceptic
