My Angel
Who is my angel
Can anyone see
I know he is there
Watching over me
I close my eyes
Squeezing them tight
Please my angel
Come to the light
Just then the darkness
Started to get bright
Clearer and clearer
His face into sight
Such beautiful eyes
Looking at me
Oh my sweet angel
How can this be
Dear grandfather
Watching over me

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement, this was my first time writing and I had been wanting to know if I should persue it or not. I have wanted to write my whole life but didn't feel I was good enough or that anyone would enjoy my work. So thank you very much. I am open to criticism and any thoughts on how to improve my work if you are available to look it over again or read other writings I am working on.

Thank you, I will be adding my other poems that I have been working on and would love your opinion. It's funny that I happened upon this site only by accident because my maiden name is Cosmo so that is what caught my eye. I lost my son in 2003 so I have alot of pain to express in poetry. I am also trying my hand at a book and am trying to gain some experience. Thank you and I hope you can read more as I post it.
