Sometimes it's hard to say, things I want to say
You make me hesitate, then smile
For it's not that you're intimidating
It's more in the way you're represented
In my mind,
You're an Athena, a familiar pillar
Supporting the foundation
Of times more temperate moments
So sometimes it's hard to say
How much I Love you,
How much I long to touch your inhibitions
To set you free
Upon the thermals
Just to watch you shine, in the sky above
Pushing the limitations
Of your God-given wings of Love
Like an angel on hiatus
You're hard to disguise amid mere mortals
For your radiance
Cannot be denied, or reflected
And your perfection
Cannot be rejected
For the Gods have you protected
Until true Love
Goes out of style...

dude!!!! suddenly I'm thinking about a documentary about great rock guitarists, they had Jimmy Page and the Edge and another great guitarist sitting in a room playing together and alone, in turn....then Jimmy Page played the riff from Whole Lotta Love, and the two other guitarists just stood up, wordlessly....the pull quoted lines below made me stand up...total perfection....high five, for the whole poem....hugs

It is like a love poem in your head for the reason that sometimes it's so hard to convey in words how you feel about your Athena....sometimes there just isn't words that can express but this is absolutely lovely brother. Athena, the daughter of Zeus himself. The most powerful Goddess known. The protector of cities. The diviner of health. The Libra of justice. The overseer of war. The proponent of peace.
