My awareness poem

So they stocked up their freezers with vegetables and meat
from the local green grocers and the butchers on the street
They had made up their minds that they were not going out what with the risk of this spreading Corvid-19 infection going about
After a month they needed some more food so they shopped online 
and the delivery was good

Well books were read and games brought out
Families made the best of it without a doubt
Kids no longer went to school and adults worked from home coz noone dared to travel it was unsafe to roam
Times were tougher but not that bad infact the children enjoyed the break with Mam and Dad
The infection raged on as they watched it on the news heeding advise from health officials interviews

Many months passed but this family had their routine
Weathering the storm that was betwixt and between
And as they never went out but for a walk in the park when noone was around after hours in the dark
These sensible souls stayed absolutey germ-free until the virus fizzled out which was eventually
A lesson to each and everyone of us 
Stay in the comfort of your own home 
As I try to raise awareness writing my little poem
