Poem -

My Bubble

I'm living in my bubble, I made it on my own.
Never a better bubble has anybody blown,
It can't be broken, it needs no support,
Blood, sweat and love keeps my bubble afloat.

This bubbles a little different, not without its flaws,
A sphere to hold my family, my existence and my cause.
It must push on, it must plough through,
Do what my bubble was born to do.

Up goes the bubble, Closer to the stars.
A bubble held together by memories not scars,
It won't be stopped, nor torn apart,
It was as strong as Teflon, right from the very start.

As the bubble rises, momentum seals it's fate.
It creeps a little closer to heavens golden gate.
It takes the hits, head on, straight through,
Past rain, past clouds to sky wide open blue.

This bubbles not alone, there are many, many more.
Bursting before the skyline and popping on the shore.
What keeps this bubble high up in its own zone?
I'M living in MY bubble, I made it on MY own.
