My Christmas tree cheeky Fairy?‍♀️

You wouldn’t believe what I did see
Twas the fairy ontop of my christmas tree
This doll like angel, both arms held high
She spread her little wings
& Began to fly

I stood in total disbelief
This plastic doll full of mischief
I tried to catch her but she fluttered by
Flapping her wings like a butterfly

I thought she would be scared of me
But she wasn’t bothered at all
As she was perched precariously
Top of a picture on my wall

I said in alarm “For heaven’s sake you’re gonna fall”
She replied in an impish voice
“No don’t be silly, I won’t at all”

She was laughing at me
Tho she could tell I was confused
The little devil stuck her tongue out
She was so amused

“Come down this minute”
I said with more authority
So she clambered off the frame
& flew back on the tree

Well that was last week
& I’m pleased to say
My fairy hasn’t moved again
Not since that day
