My Cup of Joe

Like a photographer in a battlfield

I am vulnerable without my shield 

It seems well past coincidence 

For everyone to aspire for decadence

It's time to speak truth like Jonathan Pie 

Seen less of a truth, and more of a lie 

The worlds gone crazy, we've lost connection 

with loved ones, nature, & yet we seek protection

buying brands and jewellery, all to look nice

I'm on a new level, its time to break the ice

I understand that appearances do count  

but the acts you make are more profound

Where will this message go, I don't know 

as for now I rest, with my cup of Joe
