My dainty daffodils

My dainty daffodils

Hello dainty daffodilΒ
I’m over here my name is Jill
I watch you blowing in the breeze
underneath my cherry trees
You bring me joy and jublilation as I sit in isolation
I nibble on my Birthday cake your yellow petals shiver a’shake
β€œHappy Birthday you are saying with your swinging and a’swaying

Your delightful display means Spring is here to brighten up and give us cheer
My daughters picked you for our room my daffodils are all in bloom
Yellow trumpet heads so bright you steal the show in your limelight
Thank you for your positive powers
my lovely little Springtime flowers

Being Me

Daffodils herald the spring in such a beautiful way. They remind me of a little golden army trumpeting a fanfare for spring. A very happy birthday to you x
