My Dreams Die

I must confess, as I lay
In the darkness, there is an array
Of hope, living in my dreams
Where your smile gleams
The moment you embrace
My body, caressing my face
With your finger tips
Pressing those silky lips
Upon mine, to dance together
In my life you may not exist, but you will forever
Exist in the dreams of my night
Followed by the loneliness in the morning light
I wish to go back to dream
Instead I scream
It is time to deal
With the facts, you loving me will never be real
So I dream on
Until each breaking dawn
Then I cry
and let my dreams die

Emotional read.
Love the flow and the dramatic conclusion of this piece.
Best wishes. xo
Thank you Richard there is nothing better than a poem that is created by a powerful human desire, and we all desire to wake beside the one we are born to love
Sad but totally beautiful, well done sweetheart xox
