~ MY EARTHLY TOPCOAT ~

Life does 
The bravest test,
For there is true bravery
In growing older,
And a power in the magic
Of generations passing
(seemingly)
In the blink of an eye.
The true privilege
Is in being alive itself
And recognizing
The horizon's point of view,
Looped
In translucent circles
Connecting
The me and the you,
The past and the present,
Of all existence
To the inert
As well as the volcanic
Where,
The soul moves steadily forward
Helping to create
Worlds anew
With DNA
(human to alien)
Leaving other worlds behind
No dates nor persons,
No rituals or special standing,
The spirit
Recognizing the brilliance
Of the third eye,
Of and in
The light
That exists
Between,
All forms of life...

Oh sweet spirit
Awaken
The third eye,
Man's vestigial
Light organ,
For the universe is calling
In its most 
Enigmatic voice...

And so,
I remove
My earthly topcoat,
And place it
(ever-so-gently)
Across its body,
Of ever evolving
Stars...
