Poem -

My Enemy

You have the name of my enemy, the name I swore to never say.

Yet that is the name that lingers on my lips.

You have the strength of a blood thirsty barbarian,

yet you are gentleĀ and far from barbaric.

You are a fighter and war is what you were taught,

yet it is peace you seek to bring and hope you choose to show.

You are the embodiment of anger,

yet you show kindness.

You are scarred by battle,

but not broken inside.

You wear the well-known marks of a warrior

and your souls seems to be lost.

A man who kills with ease, but loses himself with each kill.

You have your fears, but have only shown courage.

Do they see you?

Do they know?

You are a creature of wonder, a warrior of strength.

A man I call my enemy,

in name alone.
