My flight of fancy 🧚‍♀️

We chat about this and that and then she flutters away

She has such a friendly demeanor, always bright and gay

And sometimes she shares my picnic and I watch her play..

Fragile and flimsy, she is so light on her tiny feet

I worry that the wind would blow her away coz she is very petite

And I always hear her before I see her as she is singing so sweet

She has funny freckles all over her face from the sun’s kissed heat..

Oh my flight of fancy what on earth would I do?

If you decided to leave my garden and away you flew

My afternoons would become boring, I’d be so sad and blue
