My Girls

My Girls

My girls hold the sunshine for me,
When im bringing home the rain.

They drive me crazy,
I guess it helps to already be insane.

I long for the kisses,
And the never ending hugs.

It's not nuts enjoying what you must hold onto,
Which is embracing infinite love.

My girls so sweet,
Hate to think they'd be sour.

To fall from favor,
No longer be the man who holds the flowers.

Doesn't matter how many times im pushed away,
Accused of not having a care.

Whenever I am needed,
I'm drawn to always be there.

My girls they spread their wings to ascend,
Wishing well in what they stand to gain.

I wait for the days to repay them,
Bringing given sunshine to end their rain.
