Poem -

My Hoodies

My Hoodies

My hoodies
you see they tell their own stories
My hoodies
cradle me and make me feel safe in this corrupt world
My hoodies
hide all the scars inflicted on my body
My hoodies
covers all the insecurities I'm too scared to look upon
My hoodies
   envelops me
My hoodies
   give me warmth
My hoodies
are and will always be a part of me

My hoodies...

Hi Brandina.....This poem reminds me of my teenage daughter, because she loves hoodies and that is all she would ever want to wear....lol....You list the same reasons I believe she loves to wear them too....she goes off in her own world listening to music on her headphones inside the hood....and blocks out the world and can feel comfort from her insecurities and stress around her.  I like the simplicity of topic you chose but speaks on an intimate level....Welcome to Cosmo... xo ;)

Hey, Brandina.
This poem is pretty deep—much deeper than first appears.
We all look for ways to hide our imperfections; be they physical or cosmetic.
I gotta admit, I've gotta pretty good collection of hoodies myself.
Nicely penned...
