My Journey

Given in what I should of long ago

Im broken inside where I can't believe in myself

Why I lost my head to empty thoughts of disbelief

I can't see what's right in front of me

How can I find the path of enlightened souls

A journey in the deep hollows of the unknown

The darkness that comes from living a hell

Down inside where no light can pierce to help

Lock forever more I will find nothing is what I live for

God please take me home

I now understand the sins I have committed

Wash it all away for I will seek prayer for the strength to overcome defeat

See the truth inside of me

Please forgive the mess just wipe me clean

God make the empty full of dreams

Atleast help me to my feet

So I can follow a path you set for me

As my faith my be weak

But only you can find the strength

That will let me complete my journey
