My Letter to God

I had to write this letter to God,
And I asked him to watch over you.
I told him about all your suffering,
And the pain you have to go through.
And I also wrote in the letter,
You had such a beautiful smile.
But ever since you got cancer,
We only see it once in a while.
I asked God if he would help us,
And cure this horrible thing.
To give you all of your strength back,
So you could enjoy at least one more spring.
I will keep on writing this letter,
Until God makes it all better for you.
And the ones that have never had cancer,
Believe me, you have no clue.
