Poem -

My life

As my journey begun,

Time ripped apart my life.

With the losses I faced,

With the love that I lost,

I had lost all faith.

But as time went on,

And I grew to accept

And I grew to learn and face the loneliness of depression,

I began to accept my life and accept who I was.

For I am a strong, beautiful girl who is worthy of life.

With a flip of a switch my life became my life once more,

No longer a victim of suicidal urges,

No longer believing depression's lies

It became my life,

Just my life.
