My Life

I was once left alone.
Stuck in repeat.
And everything was unknown.
I was forever in darkness,
With no one but me,
It felt like everyone was heartless.
But I was totally wrong,
Someone came to show me light,
And said “Always stay strong.”
There was no reason for her to stay.
And she knew i didn’t want her to.
But she did anyway.
The person helped stop the tears,
Broke down the walls,
And got rid of all my fears.
She helped change the bad to good,
Helped turn my life around.
That person stayed, just like she said she would.
If i could say one last thing.
It would be “Thank you.”
“Thank you for all the joy you bring.”
