My Life & Verse historically

My Life & Verse historically

My imagination looks far into the future decades and more decades down the long line I hope whilst I pray I shall live till one hundred, as long as I have my facilties then that will be fine.. as I was sat on my sofa with a rug on my knee, the angels came to call and I went willingly

But in my lap was my book on an open page with my pen in my finger tips, still writing my sage... 100,000 poems to date was my last completed all written in books on a shelf where I was seated..many, many times throughout my long duration I shook the dust off my books and I read through the narrations, poems all of which I alone had created tho until my demise were left on the shelf understated

I see me hovering up above in a familiar room with my offspring suffering my loss without any gloom.. they knew because I told them I was ready to rest, my life was fullfilled.. I had finished my quest..yet my hand-written poems all remained as my legacy left for my loved ones to think of me endlessly.. As I look down on my Grandchildren, they have Grandchildren of their own, they all read through my books when they are alone

I could not wish for anything more if this poem came true, imagine in the future family thinking of you.. embracing your verses and loving your creations whilst they picture your visions within their imaginations.. Oh what a happy, heavenly spirit I would be if I heard future generations speaking highly about me.. with children sat on their Mothers knee reading my life and verses from my history

A Lonely Journey

Jill,
That is really cool!!
I really liked that, and the way you think! Wonderful. I mean that.
It's a really good idea, too. I keep a list of my sock purchases in a book for posterity, but now I'm thinking that may be a little less dramatic, and fulfilling for my family.
Here are some of the pages:

10-11-14. Purchased 2 pairs of argyle from Walmart. One was a little small, and hurt my big toe...I lost the other.

11-15-17. Purchased 7 pair of tube socks from a man on the street. I think they may have been hot, however, as the police hit me in the head with a mallet after I purchased them, and threw me in a cell in Leavenworth.

12-12-18. Purchased 1 sock from Target, and 1 from Bob's Socks and Hairnet Emporium. Tried to match them together, but then my legs fell off.

Do you think my grandchildrens' grandparents will like them, when I have some? Let me know. Thanks.

Matthew.
