My little angel

Why when I close my eyes , do I still see you lying there?
Why when I see the world , do I feel such utter despair?
You were so perfect,so beautiful, and now you are gone
Taken from us so suddenly why when I did nothing wrong 

I long to feel you moving, I miss you being here 
I can't stop this pain, this constant losing of a tear 
Why didn't they listen,mummy knew something was wrong
I am so sorry Lucy I will promise to  try to be strong 

But how can I carry on ,and yet never hold your hand
How can people laugh and play ,they just don't understand 
I can never look you in your eyes , or kiss you when you cry
I need to get some closure, someone needs to tell us why

I hope that you are happy, and that you know I love you forever
And when you close your eyes you'll see me  ,that I will leave you never
Sleep well my baby Lucy, and know that soon I will be there
To hold you in my arms , and together our dreams we can share..
